You should use some 3d geometry and a texture with alpha for those broken walls.
Is very easy and it saves a lot of photoshop time to match the prespetcive.

nice mattes guys!
samir, your painting is brilliant as ever but im not sure you could pass this off as a background plate. its a great idea that would be awesome if it was executed in a photo-realsitic style! nice stuff though!
Mark, your plate is superb! i love the anticipation the stormy clouds bring to the image. and you have captured the desolate surroundings really well. maybe adding a few cliche elements like, the odd cactus, animal skeleton etc might give it more feel.
