Well... Looking at the speed painting thread I was wondering if we could do a 30 min speed render thread?
Basically, we could model and render something within 30 mins. Obviously you are not going to model and render a massive complex scene but it would be nice to see the progression. Think about setting up a scene with a simple primative and a lighting rig as your first piece. then, replace the primatives with a more detailed mesh for your second attempt. I think as postings progress we will build up "presets" etc and very interesting things will come. a bit like this... http://www.cgsphere.com What do you guys think? |

i think that i love painting too much!
I would start your thread for speed 3d and let people know on the frd forums see how many takers you get. it sounds like a fine idea mr steptoe (but i personally wont be joining in as i am all about the paints). |
