My criticism is that you are much better at drawing than I am.

Sorry I've been absent a bit lately - I'm doing a 'commission' for my sister at the moment and its taking up all my free time! Will be back soon.

just as an aside, i tried doing some more work on this last night and feck me, i just couldnt get my mojo working. bah!

Very cool images so far here.  I made a start on one last night - this is She-Gull with one of her superpowers, Summon Seagull (admittedly, not the coolest of powers to some, but fairly staple for this superhero)
I'd gladly take any crits - can't think of a better place to learn Smile

That's gods way of telling you to go outside.

I had a ball on this, glad to finish it and easily the fastest painting i have ever done today! ZOOOM
crits welcomed and appreciated.  Except from Mya because he is not very good Smile

Good work guys! For those who asked for crits:

Stacey: I think it might be better to cut away some of the background, so that the character takes up a bit more of the image. And maybe make the background colour a bit more neutral to let her stand out a bit...?

Jake: I like the characters, but I think you could add a bit of excitement to the composition - at the moment, the image seems like it's divided pretty neatly into thirds. I don't know, maybe try cropping it, or moving them around a bit?

nice stuff everyone - again, no crits just enjoying the sheer surreality of things. Planets, Seagulls and superman bothering some kid. Thats what its all about!
awilson

feeling slightly more inspired, and a whole lot less sweaty, i had another go at this, this evening.

wippage in the usual thread...

Thankyou for the advice Mya!  Was really helpful - I had another go last night Smile
